We at Tibetan Community Austria take pride in organizing major events that bring together our community and celebrate our unique culture. Our focus is on preserving our traditions and language while promoting unity and support among Tibetans in Austria. Join us and be a part of something truly special.
UNITE ALL TIBETANS IN AUSTRIA
Tibetans are scattered in different parts of Austria. All Tibetans are united under the single roof of this organisation. Since the majority of Tibetans are living in Vienna, TGÖ’s main seat is also based in the capital with the office located at Lobenhauerngasse 5/5, 1170 Vienna. TGÖ informs and updates on community-related news, and announces upcoming events to all our fellow Tibetans.
PRESERVE TIBET’S UNIQUE CULTURE
There are traditional folk dance groups and Tibetan language classes organised on weekends for children.
A main aspect of Tibet’s unique non-violent culture is helping others in anyway possible, if not never harming others. This peaceful culture, along with Buddhism, came to Tibet from India.
ORGANISE MAJOR EVENTS
The existence of this community and the unity of its people make TGÖ a strong community capable of organising social gatherings for cultural, religious and political events.
